ABOUT ABID HOSSAIN KHAN
Abid Hossain Khan has completed his M.Sc in Nuclear Engineering from University of Dhaka (DU) in 2018 and B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2016. He is currently doing his PhD on Nuclear Materials at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, Australia.
He has worked as a Project Engineering on the installation and commissioning project of "Super Insulated Vacuum Line (SIVL)" at Coca-cola Plant, International Beverage Private Ltd. (IBPL), Valuka, Mymensingh from April, 2016 to August, 2016. He has also served as Lecturer and Assistant Course Coordinator, Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sonargaon University (SU) from September, 2016 to January, 2018. After that, he joined as a Lecturer at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) on January, 2018 and served the university till April, 2021.
He is currently employed as an Assistant Professor, Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering, BUET. He has published 03 book chapters, 15 journal articles and 09 conference papers as a researcher. His research interests are Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics, Nuclear Materials Engineering and Nuclear Safety.
