    Admission Exam Syllabus

    Questions will be set to test the basic knowledge expected after completing first two years of undergraduate studies.

  • Fundamental knowledge of atomic nucleus, radiation and relevant modern physics : 30 %
  • Basics of multivariable calculus, differential equation and numerical methods : 20 %
  • Electrical circuits, thermodynamics, computer programming, stoichiometric chemistry, materials science : 50 %

    • The admission test will have a duration of one (1) hour. Twenty (20) short questions/problems will be set on the mentioned subject areas and the candidates are required to work out/solve those questions. There will be NO MCQ type questions. Each question will carry five (5) marks and there will be no negative markings. Students are advised to bring non-programmable scientific calculators.
